How to Give Access to Silvermine AI

Before we can manage your marketing campaigns and online presence, you'll need to grant us access to your existing accounts. This guide walks you through the exact steps for each platform. Don't worry if you don't have accounts set up yet—we'll help you create them.

How do I give Silvermine AI access to Meta Ads?

To run Facebook and Instagram ads, we need access to your Meta Business Portfolio (formerly Business Manager). If you don’t have one yet, we’ll walk you through setting it up first.

Step 1: Create a Meta Business Portfolio (if you don’t have one)

  1. Go to business.facebook.com
  2. Click Create Account
  3. Enter your business name, your name, and business email
  4. Follow the prompts to complete setup

Step 2: Create an Ads Account (if you don’t have one)

  1. In your Business Portfolio, go to Settings (gear icon)
  2. Under Accounts, click Ad Accounts
  3. Click AddCreate a new ad account
  4. Name your ad account and set your timezone and currency
  5. Add a payment method when prompted

Step 3: Add Silvermine AI as a Partner

  1. Go to Settings in your Business Portfolio
  2. Click Partners in the left sidebar
  3. Click AddGive a partner access to your assets
  4. Enter our Business ID: [We’ll provide this during onboarding]
  5. Select the Ad Account you want us to manage
  6. Grant Manage campaigns permission (or Full Control if preferred)
  7. Click Save Changes

We’ll receive a notification and accept the invitation. You’ll remain the owner of the account at all times.


How do I give Silvermine AI access to Google Ads?

You have two options: add us to your existing Google Ads account, or we can create and manage a new account on your behalf.

Option A: Add us to your existing account

  1. Sign in to ads.google.com
  2. Click the Admin icon (wrench with person) in the left navigation
  3. Click Access and security
  4. Click the blue + button to add a user
  5. Enter our email: [We’ll provide this during onboarding]
  6. Select access level:
    • Standard - We can create and edit campaigns
    • Admin - We can also manage billing and user access
  7. Click Send Invitation

We’ll accept the invitation within 24 hours and notify you when we’re ready to begin.

Option B: We create an account for you

If you don’t have a Google Ads account yet, we can set one up for you. Here’s what we need:

  • Your business name and website URL
  • Primary contact email
  • Billing information (credit card or bank account)
  • Any existing Google account credentials you’d like linked

We’ll create the account under your business ownership and add you as the primary admin. You’ll always have full control.


How do I give Silvermine AI access to Google Business Profile?

Your Google Business Profile (formerly Google My Business) controls how your business appears on Google Search and Maps. Adding us as a manager lets us optimize your listing, respond to reviews, and post updates.

Step 1: Access your Google Business Profile

  1. Go to business.google.com
  2. Sign in with the Google account that owns your business listing
  3. Select your business if you have multiple locations

Step 2: Add Silvermine AI as a Manager

  1. Click Users in the left menu (or find it under the three-dot menu)
  2. Click Add users (the person icon with a plus sign)
  3. Enter our email: [We’ll provide this during onboarding]
  4. Select Manager as the role
    • Managers can edit info, respond to reviews, and create posts
    • You remain the Primary Owner with full control
  5. Click Invite

We’ll accept within 24 hours. You can remove our access at any time from the same Users menu.

Don’t have a Google Business Profile?

If your business isn’t claimed on Google yet, we can help you:

  1. Create and verify your listing
  2. Optimize it with photos, hours, and services
  3. Set up review management

Just let us know during onboarding and we’ll handle the setup.


How do I give Silvermine AI access to my domain?

We need domain access to connect your website, set up email, or configure DNS records for marketing tools. The process varies by registrar.

Wix

  1. Log in to your Wix account at wix.com
  2. Click Settings in the left sidebar
  3. Select Domains
  4. Click on your domain name
  5. Scroll to AdvancedSite Contributors
  6. Click Invite Contributors
  7. Enter our email and select Admin role
  8. Click Invite

Alternatively, you can transfer DNS management to us:

  1. Go to Domains → select your domain
  2. Click AdvancedManage DNS Records
  3. Share the nameserver information with us, or
  4. Point nameservers to Cloudflare (we’ll provide the values)

GoDaddy

  1. Log in to godaddy.com
  2. Click My ProductsDomains
  3. Click the three dots next to your domain → Manage Domain
  4. Click Domain SettingsShare Domain
  5. Enter our email: [We’ll provide this during onboarding]
  6. Select Edit settings permission level
  7. Click Share

Other registrars (Namecheap, Google Domains, Squarespace, etc.)

The general process is similar:

  1. Log in to your domain registrar
  2. Find Domain Management or DNS Settings
  3. Look for Share Access, Delegate Access, or Add User
  4. Add our email with admin or edit permissions
